• Artist Info: Kevin Eastman is a comic artist best known for his work on the famous heavy metal comics, who received an Inkpot Award in 1989. But best known is Eastman as the creator of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! In 1984, Eastman collaborated with Peter Laird to create the very first black and white Turtles comic. The two published the comic themselves in their one year earlier founded label “Mirage Comics”. Rest is history. Rest is history.
