Signed basketball showcase made of safety glass with signed NBA basketball from Spalding. NBA legend Michael Jordan’s autograph on the basketball. All NBA autographs are authenticated and have a serial number.

Price information: by experts, Michael Jordan memorabilia are not only considered to be the highlight of every collection, but much more as a financial investment. Background is the very high market value of the signed pieces, which is related to a strict signature exclusive contract that Michael Jordan signed with the company Upper Deck in 1992 already. The price quoted here was carefully calculated and is made up of various factors, with the ball model, signature quality, authentication and the fact that customs clearance has already been completed in the EU playing a role. For more information see below.

  • Basketball brand: Spalding
  • Team: Chicago Bulls
  • Model: Official NBA Game Ball Basketball, Full Size
  • Autograph: Michael Jordan, black paint pen
  • Signature placement: all over and in the middle of the front panel of the ball (above the Spalding panel)
  • Authentication: James Spence Authentication (with serial number)
  • Documents: Letter of Authenticity + security hologram on the basketball (full-page document, approx. A4 with signatures from JSA Vice President James J. Spence III and a notary of the State of Florida on James Spence security paper)
  • Size showcase: approx. 28 x 27,5 x 31 cm
  • Trading card & ball holder included; The Letter of Authentication comes in a matching frame that is equipped with a wall mount but can also stand on its own.
  • Trading Card Info: The showcase comes with a Michael Jordan “SkyBox EMOTION” card, original from 1994/95. We chose this card because it is considered one of the most beautiful Jordan cards ever due to its elegant overall look. However, the card shows MJ with the jersey number 45, which he wore after his return to the NBA in March 1995. For traditionalists, we can alternatively offer an original NBA HOOPS card from 1989, which can also be seen in the pictures and shows the GOAT in the usual “Bulls 23”.
  • Ball specialty: this is a rare ball edition for various reasons. One reason is that the ball shows the 2020 passed away David J. Stern as NBA Commissioner under the NBA logo. Stern was NBA commissioner from 1984 to 2014 and is considered the father of the modern NBA. He was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2014. Another reason is that Michael Jordan has a strict signature exclusive contract with Upper Deck since 1992, which is why he is only allowed to sign items provided by Upper Deck. However, this is a ball that has perfect signature quality and has been authenticated by market leader James Spence Authentication. Therefore, the ball enjoys the advantage of coming with a full-page letter of authenticity, which is simply not available from Upper Deck.
  • The basketball comes with a basketball showcase for display purposes; the showcase is of solid and robust quality. The glass is made of acrylic, the bottom and the back wall are black to show off the basketball perfectly. The showcase is screwed together and closes completely. The ball holder is also of solid quality. The name plate on the front is made of aluminum.
  • All memorabilia in a signed basketball showcase are verified by one of the market leading US authenticators and come with serial numbered security features confirming the authenticity of the autographs (Certificate of Authenticity and/or security hologram). Authenticators of NBA autographs at Memorabilia Germany are exclusively: Beckett, James Spence Authentication, PSA/DNA or Fanatics. More information on the important topic of authentication can be found here.
