• Ball specialty: this is a rare ball edition for various reasons. One reason is that the ball shows the 2020 passed away David J. Stern as NBA Commissioner under the NBA logo. Stern was NBA commissioner from 1984 to 2014 and is considered the father of the modern NBA. He was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2014. Another reason is that it is a limited edition ball model that was produced in small numbers for the 2001 NBA Finals. The Lakers won the finals in their legendary dynasty era with Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant on the team and Century Coach Phil Jackson on the bench. The ball not only features the logo of the 2001 finals, but also the logos of the Lakers and the then-defeated Philadelphia 76ers. Kobe’s name is also engraved on it.
• The basketball comes with a basketball showcase for display purposes; the showcase is of solid and robust quality. The glass is made of acrylic, the bottom and the back wall are black to show off the basketball perfectly. The showcase is screwed together and closes completely.
