2000/01 Upper Deck Hockey, Single Pack

Unopened pack of NHL Trading Cards, original from 2000. In the new millennium, new NHL expansion teams immediately appeared. While old NHL legends like Joe Sakic, Dominik Hasek, Peter Forsberg and Jaromir Jagr dominated the league, the NHL was increased by new teams. The Minnesota Wild and the Columbus Blue Jackets started a league run for the first time. However, both new teams failed to make it into the playoffs. The Stanley Cup Finals were won by the Colorado Avalanche, who defeated the New Jersey Devils in a thrilling Game 7 finale. For more information see below.
