Unopened pack of NBA Trading Cards, original from 1996 with a chance of numbered Autograph Inserts and Kobe Bryant Rookie Cards. The 1996/97 season is known for its particularly strong rookie class around Kobe Bryant and Allen Iverson and was also used to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the NBA, although it was already the 51st season. Legends like Michael Jordan, Karl Malone or Grant Hill played in the league and the Chicago Bulls, as so often at the time, won the NBA Finals at the end of the season against the Utah Jazz. The Lakers signed free agent Shaquille O’Neal, who together with Kobe formed one of the greatest NBA duos of all times over the next years. Small side note: Dennis Rodman was banned for 11 games for kicking a cameraman at a game against the Timberwolves in Minnesota. For more information see below.
