Unopened pack of USA Basketball Trading Cards, original from 1996. The “Dream Team 3” won the gold medal at the Olympic Games in Atlanta. In the final against the team from what was then Yugoslavia, the NBA stars were unstoppable and won clearly with 95-69. The stars from the team included almost all NBA stars of the time such as Shaquille O’Neal, Grant Hill, Hakeem Olajuwon, Scottie Pippen, Karl Malone, David Robinson, Reggie Miller and Charles Barkley. Scottie Pippen became the first player ever to win Olympic gold and become NBA champion in the same year twice. He had already won gold with Michael Jordan’s Dream Team in Barcelona in 1992 and won the NBA Finals with the Bulls in the same year. For more information see below.
