Sealed MLB trading card box, original from 1994. The trading cards are from the curious season that never ended due to a player strike. There was no World Series Champion for the first time since 1904, when the then New York Giants refused a World Series against the Boston Americans. This trading card box was marketed for Upper Deck and is officially licensed by the MLB. For more information see below.

  • Edition: “Central Edition”. In 1994 Upper Deck offered different box labels for different parts of the USA. This box was offered for the central region in the interior of the USA. The other two regions were West and East. The result was the displeasure of the fans because the difference in the different editions also affected the “Diamond Collection” and the “SP Insert Cards”. The highly treasured Michael Jordan Insert Cards could only be found in the Central Edition, while the East and West Coast received nothing.
