1993 Action Packed Monday Night Football Trading Cards, Wax Pack

Unopened pack of NFL Trading Cards, original from 1993. Legends like Jerry Rice, Emmitt Smith or Rod Woodson played in the NFL and the Dallas Cowboys defeated the Buffalo Bills at the end of the season in Super Bowl XXVIII, a re-run of the previous season’s Super Bowl. For the Bills, it was an incredible fourth consecutive Super Bowl loss between the seasons from 1990-1993. These Trading Cards were produced by Hi-Pro MKTG Inc. under the Action Packed brand and were officially licensed by the NFL and by the television station abc. For more information see below.

• Find rare 24 carat „Gold-Leaf-Cards” and „Gold-Mint-Cards“ in this series!
• The pack (“Wax Pack”) comes from a “Hobby Box” opened by Memorabilia Germany, which contains a total of 24 packs. Despite their age, all packages are in immaculate condition.
• Find original cards of NFL legends from 1993. The American television station abc licensed this series of cards. In the run-up to the 1993 NFL season, abc fixed the TV schedule for the NFL top games: the famous Monday Night Games! The Trading Cards feature all the Monday Night NFL stars of the season.
• For this series of cards, rare cards have been wrapped in 24k gold leaf foil and packed into a few packs. There are also 250 versions of each card that were individually numbered and gold embossed. Certificates for these cards can be found in some packs.
• A coupon for a trip to the 1993 season’s Pro Bowl was included in some packages. Unfortunately, you can no longer win the trip without using the DeLorean from Back to the Future, as the game was played almost 30 years ago. What a pity!
• Background information 1993: Bill Clinton takes over in the USA, Monica Selles is attacked by an insane spectator with a knife on the tennis court in Hamburg, the Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar loses his life and the first Jurassic Park movie thrills the fans in the cinemas. Our “Vintage” Trading Cards are a dream for every nostalgic and collector, as they are not reproductions of the earlier cards, but all packs are original from the time they were released.
