Legends like Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson or Larry Bird played in the NBA and the Detroit Pistons won the NBA Finals against the Portland Trail Blazers at the end of the season. These trading cards were distributed by Cardco Inc. on behalf of NBA Properties Inc. and officially licensed by the NBA. They contain the first cards of the teams Orlando Magic and Minnesota Timberwolves, who were newly admitted to the NBA in 1989. For more information see below.
