Unopened pack of Movie Trading Cards from the original 1984 film “Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom”. George Lucas wrote the storyline, Steven Spielberg directed and Harrison Ford starred in this timeless classic. Due to some controversial portrayal of Indian culture, the film was temporarily banned in India. Among other things, the banquet scene was criticized, where dishes such as monkey brains or cockroaches are served at the table as local cuisine. These trading cards were marketed by topps and are officially licensed by Lucasfilm Ltd. licensed. For more information see below.

  • Content of the pack: 10 Cards + 1 Sticker + 1 „Bazooka“ Bubble Gum
  • Release year: 1984
  • Brand: Topps
  • Country: United States
  • „Movie Photo Cards + Bubble Gum“
  • The package (“Wax Pack”) comes from a “Wax Box” opened by Memorabilia Germany, which contains a total of 36 packages. Despite their age, all packages are in immaculate condition.
  • Find original film classic cards from 1984 featuring Harrison Ford and other stars in the best scenes from the Oscar-winning classic.
  • In our opinion, the Bazooka Bubble Gums should no longer be consumed, as they can be found in the unopened packages and therefore of course also date from 1984.
  • Background infos 1984: Hollywood star Ronald Reagan is elected US President and the Soviet Union boycotts the Los Angeles Olympic Games. On TV, “Dallas” and “Dynasty – Denver-Clan” are the most popular series, but are chased by new productions like “Miami Vice” in terms of ratings. Theaters are showing Indiana Jones, Ghostbusters, Gremlins and Beverly Hills Cop while people listen to the music of Michael Jackson, Tina Turner and Duran Duran. Our “vintage” trading cards are a dream for every nostalgic and for every collector, since they are not reproductions of the earlier cards, but all the packs are original from the time they were published then.
