Unopened pack of NHL Trading Cards, original from 2009. Superstars from today and legends of times long past such as Henrik Sedin, Chris Chelios, Scott Niedermayer or John Tavares, who was newly picked by the Islanders at the time, played in the NHL and the Chicago Blackhawks defeated the Philadelphia Flyers in the Stanley Cup Finals. It was the Blackhawks’ first title since the 1960-61 season! In the Winter Classic, German NHL pride Marco Sturm scored the game-winning goal for the Bruins, who played the Classic in the legendary Fenway Park, the Red Sox’s baseball stadium known as the “Green Monster”, against the Flyers, who were unsuccessful here as well.
