Anders als andere Comic Artists, musste sich Beatty seinen Weg zu den Publishern hart erk\u00e4mpfen. \u00dcber Jahre hinweg besuchte er Conventions und andere \u00f6ffentliche Veranstaltungen, bei denen Vertreter der gro\u00dfen Publisher vor Ort waren und zeigte seine Arbeit vor, bis er 1980 von Jim Shooter eine Einladung zur Probearbeit zu MARVEL nach New York bekam. Mit etwas Hilfe von Michael Zeck konnte Beatty so die ersten namhaften Auftr\u00e4ge f\u00fcr MARVEL und sp\u00e4ter auch f\u00fcr DC ergattern. \u00dcber die Jahre nahm seine Karriere Fahrt auf und Beatty wurde Zeichner bei gro\u00dfen Titeln wie Captain America, Punisher, Superman, Batman, Justice League oder Action Comics.<\/li>\n<li>Artist Info: Nach einer kurzen Zeit bei Charlton Comics fing Michael Zeck bereits 1977 an f\u00fcr MARVEL zu arbeiten. Zusammen mit Writer Doug Moench entwarf er Master of Kung Fu, eine Arbeit, die  vom repr\u00e4sentativen Comic Webportal Comics Bulletin unter die \u201eTop 10 Marvels of the 70s\u201c gew\u00e4hlt wurde. Punisher, Spiderman, G.I. Joe \u2013 Michael Zeck war \u00fcber die Jahre Zeichner f\u00fcr viele ber\u00fchmte Titel bei MARVEL, arbeitete aber auch f\u00fcr DC und gestaltete Cover f\u00fcr Serien wie Action Comics, Batman
